The marble and its steel hangers were deteriorating and had become a safety hazard. One piece fell from above the entrance and shattered on the sidewalk. Each piece weighed close to 100 lbs and could kill someone if it fell on them. BTW, I own the building where your dad’s store was. It is now Coon Bottom Farms Country Store. We still have several posters from your dad’s store hanging on the walls.]]></description>
